Description: This listing is for an original 1906 Pin from the School Of The Ozarks from the first year it was founded. This Christian college now goes by the name College of the Ozarks. On the pin is the school's symbol and its motto "Academic - Vocational - Cultural - Patriotic - Spiritual". The school was founded by the Presbyterian minister Reverend James Forsythe as a high school. In 1956 it became a Junior College and in 1965 it became a four-year bachelor degree program. In 1990 they changed their name to College of the Ozarks and in 2012 they reopened the School of the Ozarks as a high school. This pin is in very good condition and measures 3/4" across.
