Description: 1940s Men's Imperial Manual Wind Watch This is a beautiful and somewhat rare men's Imperial manual wind watch, manufactured in Switzerland I believe sometime during the 1940s based on the dial and case style. The 7 jewel movement has been cleaned and oiled, and the watch is keeping accurate time. The beautiful copper plated (yes, it is copper and NOT rose gold!) case has been cleaned and polished, and shows some light surface scratches, and very minimal wear to the plating in a few spots on the bezel. The copper and white two-toned dial on this watch is in very good condition for the age - the copper color is a bit dark (the coloring is uniform and the white minute track helps set it off) but there are no spots or paint loss inside and including the minute track. There are a few dark spots around the edge of the dial where it has rubbed against the bezel over the years, but these areas can not be seen when the watch is assembled (see pictures). The case back has an inscription on it: "A.O. Nordine from Employees", but that can not be seen when the watch is being worn. A brand new acrylic crystal has been installed. A brand new black leather strap has been installed. Overall, the watch is in very good condition and ready to wear!
