Description: 1985 Trek 520 sport-touring frameset; 21" (center of Bottom Bracket to top of seat tube). Serial Number 151758, so it was built in 1984 and sold in 1985. This frame, interestingly, was built with a fork that doesn't have eyelets on the fork dropouts, so it may have a fork that was meant for a Trek 560 frame. The main frame tubes are Reynolds 501 (their double-butted chromoly tubeset, similar to 531 but CrMo instead of MnMo), and the fork is Tange Mangalloy and the stays are True Temper chromoly. I don't know what make/model headset is installed--it is not original, but seems to be in good condition. The frameset has some paint loss and scuffs, but not dents or gouges--see pics. NOTE: I am happy to ship, but buyer needs to arrange shipping (through BikeFlights, UPS, etc.) after purchase. I will supply the necessary dimensions & weight for the buyer to purchase shipping. Once the buyer sends me the shipping arrangements and prepaid label, I will drop off accordingly.
