1993 Upper Deck SP BOX DEREK JETER #6 ALL TIME HITS, Mr. November/Captain CLUTCH

Description: 1993 Upper Deck SP unopened factory sealed box (DEREK JETER rookie card year)! This was the 1st year Upper Deck made these super premium short printed "SP" product and it has been an expensive luxury box ever since its release! Other than DJ, there's also 1st Upper Deck rookie cards of Johnny Damon, Chipper Jones, Manny Ramirez, Carlos Delgado, all HOF worthy candidates and their rookie cards in this 1st PREMIUM/LIMITED SP product. Then there's the rookie card of Dmitry Young (card # 290/last card of the set) who is/was a major card collector himself and probably has 93 boxes of these hoarded away as INVESTMENT---these 1993 SP unopened boxes are the BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY STOCKS in the card collecting market! Jeter is # 6 on the all time hits leaders with 3,465 hits. Only 2 players (Pete Rose & Hank Aaron) retired with more hits in the last 55 years! And just 5 players ever amassed more hits than Jeter in baseball history---that's about 150+ years since the beginning of professional baseball! Derek Jeter is THE MODERN DAY BASEBALL IMMORTAL, amongst the "Mount Rushmore of Yankees" along side Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Joe Dimaggio, and Mickey Mantle. "ALL I WANTED TO DO IS TO PLAY SHORTSTOP FOR THE NEW YORK YANKEES WHEN I WAS GROWING UP"---quote from Derek Jeter. Endured and performed under New York's magnified scene throughout his celebrated career, the FACE of MLB for 20 years (1995 to 2014), and a baseball ICON---symbol of greatness on & off the field! His retirement farewell tour and final game speech moment will be replayed & remembered for generations to come and rank right up there along with Lou Gehrig & Mickey Mantle retirement moments! What will his 1993 Upper Deck SP rookie cards, complete sets, unopened packs, unopened boxes be worth in future as his career is now cemented with ever growing legacy! Graded cards are great, but there will be more and more graded cards over time at ALL grade levels. While supply of unopened packs/boxes will decrease drastically over time and thus increase value with absolute certainty as historical trend of unopened materials market indicates! If you're considering paying $ 10,000 for PSA 9, or $ 700,000+ for PSA 10 (price realized in early 2021), then consider aforementioned and buy an unopened box instead or in addition to your existing Derek Jeter collection/investment. This 1993 SP unopened box value reaching 5 figures (say $ 20,000+) one day soon is a foregone conclusion!!! [A 1986-87 Fleer basketball unopened box (Jordan's first Fleer card), valued about $ 200,000---so just 1/10th of that price forecast is WAY beyond reasonable!!! Same as 1986 Fleer basketball cards that 1993 SP cards were only distributed in unopened boxes, there are NO factory sets packaged by Fleer or Upper Deck SP, no other forms of boxes---just this ONE type of unopened box! And same as the 1986-87 Fleer basketball PREMIER issue being that 1993 was the first PREMIER issue of the popular "SP" edition, but in MUCH LESS print run compared to the 1986-87 Fleer basketball cards! [A 2000 Contenders football unopened box (Tom Brady rookie) valued about $ 25,000+ per box! The 1993 SP box is 7 years older with similar box production. [A 2003-2004 Upper Deck Exquisite basketball unopened box (Lebron James rookie) valued about $ 50,000+ per box! The 1993 SP box is 11 years older with likely LESS production than the Exquisite 3,600 boxes made. The 1993 SP boxes were about $ 60 to $ 75 per box out of factory, it was expensive compared to other premium $ 40 to $ 50 boxes made by Topps Stadium Club/Topps Finest/Fleer Ultra/Donruss Leaf at the time. So Upper Deck made very limited amount of this "SP" boxes/cases back then and allocated only 1 case per major dealer based on "pre-ordering". Basically all dealers (big or small) couldn't afford/risk ordering them due to the high price and low demand with all-time low popularity of baseball when all the collecting attention were on basketball cards at the time with Shaquille O'Neal rookies and the aftermath of the global storming 1992 Olympics dream team! Subsequently causing the 1994 baseball strike! Therefore, all 1993 SP baseball products whether it be single cards, complete sets, unopened packs, unopened boxes are "RARE" compared to all other sports cards printed at the time or 30 to 40 years prior! The 1993 SP print run/box production were extremely limited that there are more complete sets for sale from the 1950's to 1970's consisting of 550 to 700+ cards compared to the 1993 SP set consisting of just 290 cards at any given listing time---THAT'S HOW LIMITED these 1993 SP cards are!!! Again---all 1993 SP cards were only distributed and came out from unopened boxes like this one and ONLY ONE TYPE of 1993 SP unopened box! Instead of the variety of different unopened boxes from the 1950's to 1990's like cellos/jumbo cellos boxes/cases, wax boxes/cases, rack pack boxes/cases, grocery rack pack boxes/cases, vending boxes/cases, cut card cases, fun pack bags, etc. A 1993 SP unopened box like this one WILL be amongst the HEADLINERS held by major auction houses in the not so distant future! ~~~from New Jersey, playing shortstop, batting 2nd, wearing # 2, Mr. November, Captain Clutch, 5 time WS champion, Yankees captain.......(((( DEREK JETER ))))~~~ The "JETER METER" (all time hits leaders as of 9/28th/2014, last game): 1 Pete Rose 4256 2 Ty Cobb 4189 3 Hank Aaron 3771 4 Stan Musial 3630 5 Tris Speaker 3514 6 Derek Jeter 3465[the hits ended, now the LEGACY begins] *JETER'S FINAL ALL STAR GAME: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nlevGaT2gg**JETER'S FINAL AT BAT IN YANKEES STADIUM: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdShAvdOe68***JETER'S FINAL CAREER AT BAT IN FENWAY PARK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOvPDlzXhbA
