The most common application is a 19-25' offshore fishing boat with a 150-250hp outboard although they work great on any boat that could use a little extra help on the bottom end, especially heavy cruisers. The customers absolutely love the performance and wonder why they didn't do it sooner! We do recommend dropping to the next size down from the current propeller if it is a 3 blade. The extra blade, cupping and increased surface area drastically increases the efficiency of the prop and lowers the rpm's of the engine.
