Description: Intriguing early Victorian painted wooden dresser box with decoupage exterior finish comprising of Old Master paintings, signs, and symbols, and famous composers inside. Good overall condition consistent with age and use. Decoupage has areas of loss and tears. Please review photographs. Bottom of box is cracked. Key is missing. Black paint has a great crackled patina. Interior is painted in contrasting yellow chartreuse. Small brass balls for feet. Box measures approximately 11 inches long, 8 1/2 inches wide, 3 3/4 inches tall, and 2 1/2 inches deep.
