Description: This antique quilt is a one-of-a-kind, handmade and stitched piece that has been cherished for over 90 years. The rectangular coverlet measures 93" in length and 80" in width, and features a beige background with bright colors of yellow, pinks, and blues. It is unique in that the piece has slits at the bottom so that it can rest perfectly at the foot of the mattress- please see pictures for this detail. The 78" measurement in the picture is to where the slits begin and then there's an overhang to measure 93". It has a beautifully finished scalloped yellow border and on the underside as well. The quilt is shown on top of a Queen Mattress so it would fit a full-size mattress. All measurements are approximate and only the quilt is available. Kept in a on-smoking and no pets home! The quilt was made in the United States and likely made between 1920-1940s. It was kept in a cedar chest most of the time with the exception of the last 6 years.
