Description: Gorgeous Antique Lamp Finial Great condition! A gorgeous, original antique lamp finial made of cast brass and faceted amethyst glass. It's very weighty for its size because of being solid brass (almost 1/2 pound). The finish has some original paint and beautiful patina. The purple glass top has a teeny, tiny flea bite at the very top and a few miniscule flea bites on the faceted corners here and there (nothing noticed when in use). The glass piece was installed slightly off-of-straight, which adds antique personality to the piece since it was probably handmade. ;-) This is only noticeable from certain angles (see photos). And as you can see in the photos, the purple color is more vibrant in different lighting (natural light vs indoor light).
