The Smart diffuser has two modes of operation: CAR MODE By simply pressing a button on the unit, you can make the unit to switch to car mode. While in car mode (purple light), You can select between essential oil diffuse time (1.5 sec, 1.5 sec, 3 sec, 3 sec) and how long to wait till the next spray occurs (300 sec., 180 sec., 120 sec., 60 sec.). You can also choose between working hours time between 1/2 hr., 2 hr., 4 hr.. 8 hr., or 24 hrs. INDOOR USE By simply pressing the button again, you can make the unit to switch to indoor mode (Orange light). There are LED lights that provide visual indication of what mode the unit is in and spray and pause Time. While indoor mode, the diffuser will spray essential oil based on your selection choice. You can select between essential oil diffuse time (3.5 sec, 5 sec, 10 sec, 15 sec) vs. how long to wait till the next spray occurs (180 sec. 180 sec. 180 sec. 180 sec.). You can also choose between working hours time between 1/2 hr., 2 hr., 4 hr.. 8 hr., or 24 hrs.
