Description: Up for auction is a used professional Conn Elkhart 28D double french horn. All valves and slides move freely and this french horn is in playable condition. There are no major dents present and there is evidence of prior dent removal. This N series french horn has minor scratches throughout from normal use and the lacquer wear is minimal. There are two small patches inside the bell throat(pictured) and the 4th valve lever nut is missing. This most likely has been re-lacquered at some point in time and some prior solder work is visible. This model is similar in design to a Conn 8D(all nickel silver), but the 28D model has a brass bell/slides and a nickel silver mouthpipe. Included is a used Conn french horn case(interior is intact with some wear, latches catch, handle is intact, exterior has wear and is missing a case foot). No mouthpiece is included, the pictures provided are considered as part of the description and this french horn is being sold in "as-is" condition.
