Crisp Fabrics~Antique TRIP AROUND THE WORLD Handmade Quilt~Hand Quilted 80x80

Description: TRIP AROUND THE WORLD old handmade quilt. Love the deeper tone colors and prints! All cotton fabrics. Fabrics feel crisp. Check out the wide cinnamon pinks border~~~and the limey green and black print backing fabric!! Measures about 80 x 80. Squares measure about 2.5" x 2.5" Quilt is nicely and neatly made! Machine pieced and hand quilted. Binding is turned from the front and hand sewn on the back. Very thin batting so it displays beautifully! I have not cleaned or treated this quilt. I see a few minor spots~there is a darker spot on a blue calico (see photos). It's closer to the border than the middle. Has a few other much lighter spots. Edges and corners are oh'so slightly dingy from handling and storage. The quilt fabrics feel crisp but some fabrics have issues: *The maroon with white circles has a few over-dyed spots and some misses. Also has slight color fading from age and mfg flaw color streaking. A few squares have old stitch seam lines. *The black and white print has some color print misses~has white lines thru the pattern. *Some of the fabrics has old stitch lines/holes. They look like old seam lines~like she had pieced them and then took the stitches apart and re-sewed them. Not quilt sure. See photos. I see this in a blue calico, a navy with tiny white dots and the maroon with circles. All this sounds worse than it is! This quilt is in amazing conditions!! Super clean. No odors. Non smoking home.
