Description: Custom Drop Point Padauk Wood Handle 1095 Steel Knife By Ray Richards USA. The knife is hand crafted custom. Made in Vernal Utah. This knife is made from 3/16" 1095 High Carbon Steel. The length of the blade is 4-1/2". The handle is 4" . Fixed blade. Tapered tang. Brass guard. The guard is pinned and silver soldered. Six 1/8" pins in the handle. Padauk wood handle. Has a G10 Gray liner. Comes with handcrafted leather sheath. The Sheath is made by Ray Richards. Hand double stitched Sheath. The blade is a brushed mirror finish. Made in the USA, by Ray Richards. The maker is local here in Northern Utah. He has been apprenticing under Bill Lewis another knife maker in our area. Bill is a gunsmith and knife maker. He is almost 80 so he is now teaching Ray how to make knives. Bill apprenticed under Roy Genge, and Roy apprentice under Bob Loveless. So you will see the loveless design on many of the knives.
