Description: Derby Hand Painted Colonial / Georgian Lady With Cat Figurine Circa 1815-1835 Nice hand painted bone china / soft paste porcelain figurine of a Colonial / Georgian lady holding a white and black cat. She has a green bodice with a white and gold front panel, and white ruffled sleeves and collar. Her skirt is cobalt blue with gold gilt flowers and yellow with purple flowers. She has a light purple cape with dark purple dots. Marked on the bottom with a red crown above Derby. Circa 1815 to 1835. Has some crazing typical of bone china, a few small spots of wear to the enamel on the base and some very minor chips to the bows at her elbows and to the leaves at her feet. Otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 2 3/8 inches wide x 5 1/8 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. JV DX
