Description: The Gathering of Eagles (GOE) is a year-long program that capstones the USAF Air Command and Staff College annual curriculum. Each year, people who have made a significant contribution to Airpower receive invitations to a week-long event to share their personal stories of courage, perseverance, and innovation to the ACSC class and local community. GOE has been an annual event since 1982 and each year the honored Eagles are depicted in a signed lithographic print of the eagles by a famous aviation artist. This offering is the 1984 artwork for the aviators honored in 1984. It is titled Great Moments in Aviation History III. This lithograph includes a booklet describing the actions of each of the honorees. The lithograph is signed by the artist (Jay Ashurst) and each of the honorees.The frame measure 43 inches by 35 Inches and is relatively heavy (20 pounds) with glass so shipping will be expensive.
