The bottle has not been harmed or damaged in any way. It is embossed HAYWARD'S HAND FIRE GRNADE boldly in one sunken diamond shape panel.... PATENTED AUG.8 1871 in 2nd sunken diamond panel..... S.F.HAYWARD 407 BROADWAY NY in 3rd sunken diamond panel.....4th diamond is plain with only a small piece of the original label.... A big number 2 on bottom.....Hand blown in 4 pc mold....original lead wrapper around the neck.....golden amber....unique round shape with sunken diamond panels and sunken V ribs....6"tall....Excellent attic nice condition with no chips or damage.....A slight film inside. There is a hole drilled through the plaster neck plug where the contents were drained....THIS BOTTLE IS EMPTY . This bottle acted like a grnade....it was to be thrown at the base of a fire.
