Description: NOS Proto 2000 Pennsylvania Railroad GP9 Phase III diesel. Power chassis tested and found to have bad gears (see note below), all 4 gears were replaced, unit was tested, it runs superb. Sealed parts pack, paperwork and original box. Note: Many Proto 2000 2 axle diesel locomotive models had defective gears straight from production. Many would split before the model was ever run. Models with bad axle gears will bind, make a thumping noise, or just spin in place. I inspect EVERY one that goes through my shop even if its factory sealed.
