Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 Blue Leather Epi Custom Hand-Painted Clownfish

Description: For sale is a blue leather Speedy 30 bag hand-painted with an original design. I felt that the blue leather with its wavy texture would lend itself well to an ocean scene. I decided to paint two Clownfish, where one is turning around to look at the black LV logo. The other one seen from the side view was placed where the bag leather has curvature, to give the fish a little more 3D depth. The bag has a date code of VI0932, which would be from March 1992 in France. The leather surface was de-glazed and painted with Angelus leather paint, then sealed with a urethane sealer for the best durability. I had the bag authenticated to be certain it is genuine. I can send a message to a potential buyer who would like to see proof it was authenticated. I tried to restore the bag further but there are some imperfections to list. This bag originally had its blue color worn off near the edges on each side, and near the zipper. The handle was also losing its blue color but all these worn parts were touched up with blue paint and sealed with the urethane sealer. The tags on each end of the zipper along with the zipper handle had cracks in areas and were repainted. Some cracks still show which can be seen in the photos. The interior of the bag looks clean and there aren’t any unusual smells. This bag holds its shape well and it feels like it’s made from strong leather. This item will be sent with USPS Priority mail.
