Due to how subjective it can be, I do not say if something is "MINT" or "NEAR MINT" but I will tell you this piece will not disappoint. This is an awesome piece that is in amazing condition with no chips, nicks or missing paint. The only thing I notice is a small amount of black paint on the passenger side by the GT/CS (visible in the last photo). Wheels/rims are in great shape and roll as they should. Red, plastic, made in Thailand base is in excellent condition with no noticeable issues. Plastic for the windows is clear with no cracks and is in great shape. Chrome interior is clean and in tact with no noticeable issues. This piece came from a collector who would buy an item, open it, display it and keep it in one of the clear 48 car cases. Photographs are part of the description, so please look carefully. Enlarging the photos really helps. The item photographed is the item you will receive. I find these items in varying locations from stores, stores that have gone out of business, estate sales, storage units (heated/non-heated), private collections, flea markets (outdoor/indoor) all the way to a good ole New England barn find.
