Description: New production, featuring tooth profile and diameter spec considerably better than the India-made gear largely on offer from others. Should fit Triumph pre-unit machines with 47502 Lucas auto-advance magneto. Note that the gear is not quite finished as is. It needs to be "finish drilled" to fit the magneto that it will be installed on. The rivet holes in the gear are only pilot holes. They are not drilled to size and will not line up with the holes in the magneto advance until they are drilled to fit. Apparently, Lucas handmade the advance units one at a time so the rivet hole spacing is a little different on each magneto.
