Description: >Offered here for your consideration is an old & original 1952 University of OREGON DUCKS "Dad's Weekend" vintage postcard!! Please see both photos, as they are an important part of my description. This uncommonly offered vintage postcard is a standard-size card, and measures approximately 5 1/2" x 3 1/4" and features Oregon's green and yellow school colors. "Dad's Weekend" took place on Feb. 2 & 3, 1952 at the university here in Eugene, Oregon. This "unused", unposted postcard was to have been sent by a U. of O. student to their dad, with the charming poem: "Dear Dad - Something's coming that's a must, Grab a plane or board a bus, It's your weekend, so please come, I know we'll both have lots of fun"...see you soon", with a blank space from the student. The card also features a classic and vintage Disney Duck mascot, inside the "O" of Oregon! <>Condition: this 70+ years old postcard is in very *Fine Shape* overall, barely showing any age/handling faults...nice!!!
