Rare 1940's Swiss CROTON Acurator Wristwatch Military Style Running 30mm

Description: I am going to be selling off some of my late father's wrist watches that he acquired over the years. He was a certified watchmaker for over 60 years. He graduated from Bowman Technical School, Lancaster, PA in 1962 and any of the work listed was done by him. PLEASE READ EVERYTHING IN THIS LISTING SO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GETTING. All of the watches will show wear, dings, scratches and other characteristics of a vintage watch that was used for its purpose many years ago. It is not recommended that you use a watch like this as an everyday watch or that you try to work on the movement unless you have watchmaking knowledge. I will be transparent and take many pictures and show any wear and blemishes, please look at them closely so you know what you are getting. This watch was serviced many years ago had a new crystal and crown put on and put away in a collector's case only taken out occasionally to be wound. This is a very nice watch that winds up, runs and keeps time. It has been tested prior to this listing. 1940's CROTON Acurator SwissCase # AR 14171, face measures approximately 30.5mmUnique two-tone gold and white dial in good conditionThe luminescence of the numbers and hands is almost completely intact.Silver colored case shows some minor pitting and normal scratches and minor wear through at some spotsI am not opening this watch up for pictures because I do not feel comfortable doing so. I know that when my father added it to his collection it was in good working order and still is.The stainless-steel back has the rarely seen time regulating button.The back of the case is signed Croton Acurator Incabloc Waterproof.I do NOT guarantee this watch to still be waterproofThis watch comes on a nice Gemex, stainless steel, rice and scissor action bandThe lugs measure 16mm, the rice section of this band measures 15mm wide and the scissor action part measures 12.6mm.The watch and band measures approximately 7.5" all the way around.
