Description: Description Up for sale is a RARE Colt MK IV Series 80 1911 9MM Conversion Kit w/ Box. These kits are very rare and seldom come up for sale. This parts kit is all original and not a put together. THIS WILL NOT WORK ON SERIES 70,s 1911's. These kits from what I know where made from 1982-1983 which given the factory box makes sense. The blueing on this kit is superb showing little to no use at all. Does have one little area in the front of the slide but nothing major at all. Barrel equally matches the slide showing no heavy use. The barrel has strong lands and groves with a mirror shine. The matching magazine shows no use with the follower having no casing rub. This kit was stored in a climate controlled area and having renaissance wax applied to prevent rust or any long term issues. This kit is perfect for the collector wanting a RARE piece. You wont be disappointed with this kit. *Why did I list this for "Parts Not Working". I've had things listed in the past in good faith. Only to have them broken via user error or parts switched out and then returned to me in poor shape. Because of this is why I list it in this manner. * Please review pictures as it’s the actual item that you are buying. My items come from a smoke free warehouse.
