Hoya papaschonii is an epiphyte that grows like a shrub. Like other thin-leaf Hoyas, it likes to stay moist. If you keep Hoyas you know this is very different than most Hoyas. This plant may be the only Hoya that self-pollinates which is incredible! This plant will grow well in moist sphagnum. I keep the mother plant in leca and it is still thriving after two years. I fertilize every watering the same as I do my other hoyas. MOTHER PLANT INFO (mother plant not pictured) I grew the mother plant from seed. I sowed my original seeds on May 1, 2022 and first peduncle formed August 29, 2022. Mother plant started putting off blooms around node 7 or 8 and has bloomed at every single node since then. I have the plant on my desk and water it probably every other day. I don’t let the top get crusty dry. And it can sit in a little water so I never stress about having it be too wet.
