Frank was born in Switzerland and emigrated to New York City in 1947, where he worked as an advertising and fashion photographer contributing regularly to magazines such as Harper's Bazaar. Frank began to travel the world, exploring cities and people with his camera. This snap shot view of a glamorous woman entering a café has the lingering sense of poetry and romanticism that was typical of Frank's early work. Later his approach became tougher, darker and more controversial. Dispatched in protective sleeve and reinforced envelope. Happy to combine postage on multiple items.
