Description: TELLY SAVALAS - LOT OF TWO 1970s UK VINYL LPs, DETAILS BELOW THIS LISTING IS FOR TWO 1970s UK VINYL LPs BY TELLY SAVALAS, WHO IS PERHAPS BEST REMEMBERED AS THEO KOJAK IN THE GRITTY 70s CRIME DRAMA "KOJAK" AND THE BOND VILLIAN BLOFELD IN THE 1969 007 FILM "ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE". THE 1975 ALBUM "TELLY" INCLUDES HIS VERSION OF BREAD'S "IF", WHICH WAS A SURPRISE UK NO. 1 IN 1975. HOPEFULLY YOU WILL FIND EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW BELOW, BUT SHOULD YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR NEED ANY OTHER PICTURES, THEN PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO GET IN TOUCH. 1) • "THIS IS ... TELLY SAVALAS" LP - (DJM Records DJSLM 2003, 1972 UK LP, front-laminated sleeve) The sleeve is overall about G+/VG - the laminated front shows storage outer rim and inner ring record-shaped impression (and a little related rubbing), a couple of small thumb/handling laminate ripples towards the side opening and some small laminate lines by the seams and spine (outer edges). There is some staining/discolouration to the unlaminated rear, mainly by the top and right-hand edge - please see all pictures above. The record is visually EX with just the odd very light and hairline surface mark to each side only. Please note that when held up to a bright light, the record appears to be a translucent deep red-ish colour - in 'normal' light, it looks like a regular black vinyl pressing.2) • "TELLY" LP - (MCA Records MCF 2699, 1975 UK LP) The sleeve is about G+/VG- with storage outer rim record-shaped impression, some thumb/handling signs by the side opening and also some small lines/crinkles by the seams and spine (outer edges) - please see pictures above. The record is visually VG+/EX with just a few very light & hairline surface marks to each side only. Covers and labels are as seen in the pictures above (actual item always shown) - see below for record grading, which obviously applies to records which have been played ONLY! Visual gradings are as above. 3) I consider a surface mark or a surface scuff to be mark(s) which you can see but that are on the top surface of the record only and as such are 'non-feelable'. If you can actually feel a mark - for example, with a finger nail - then I would consider that to be a 'scratch' which would likely cause 'ticks', 'clicks' etc. during play. Any such marks will be clearly mentioned above. 4) Due to time constraints, all vinyl is visually graded under a bright halogen bulb - it is only play-graded if specifically stated. VINYL GRADINGNEW: note that still sealed items will be presumed to be in 'new' condition, but are obviously sold as seen. Any visible signs of wear/storage etc. beneath the shrinkwrap will be mentioned.MINT: note please note that I will NEVER use the 'MINT' grade, as I think you are asking for trouble! The highest grade for an item that is not new will use will be NM (Near Mint).NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in very close to 'as new' condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in almost perfect condition.EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played a number of times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and maybe some occasional light scratches. If there is any surface noise it will be occasional, light and unobtrusive. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.GOOD (G): The record has obviously been played a lot and while it still plays through OK, it will have a lot of surface marks and/or light scratches (maybe also the occasional 'feelable' scratch) and most likely there there will be regular and noticeable surface noise. The cover and contents may suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine and/or seam splits, discoloration, etc. TERMS & CONDITIONS*Important* - the ONLY countries I will send to by uninsured mail (for item(s)under £20) are as follows: - UK.Europe (EU countries ONLY and Norway).USA and Canada.Australia, New Zealand and Japan.If you live anywhere else then your parcel MUST be insured, the cost of which is to be covered by the buyer.
