Description: Traditional Chinese Painting of bamboos handmade #5. Hello from The Lees’ Oddities. I’m a beginner in Chinese painting, but since I start, finished pieces of painting have been piling up and my sister suggested to sell them, maybe someone will appreciate them. So here I am. This is a Chinese style watercolor painting done with Chinese black ink. Hand painted Paint: Chinese calligraphy ink Paper: xuan paper/ rice paper About 13”x27” *if painting in the picture has extra paper sticking out along the edges, it will be trimmed off before shipping The Painting has been wet mounted once on backing paper. After being wet mounted once and left to dry for days, painting was straightened and became sturdier, thicker, and frameable. *Some paintings might have some wrinkles, which formed when two pieces of paper were bond together (during wet mounting). I found out it’s an inherent part of Chinese painting by another painter. If I missed anything and you have questions, please ask. I will try my best to reply as quickly as I can.
