LIFE AHEAD OF YOU WITH A LEGACY BEHIND YOU This is the FULL sized GMT version having the super cool 4th hand. The dual time feature is exactly as it sounds. It allows the user to keep track of two completely different time zones so you can always know the time in your 'other' favorite location. GMT is set independently of main time. Once set, it will keep time in unison with standard time. This classic timepiece is apx 18 years of age yet remains in an overall fairly decent used shape as it was enjoyed in gentle moderation during this time frame and always well cared for. Mineral crystal does appear to have many fine hairlines which are not well pronounced or easily noticed. Dial is crisp & clear. Light to moderate scuffs & scratches noted to the polished metals. The OEM leather straps were on the stiff and cracking side so an aftermarket set of leather straps were installed recently but did get some usage since installing. Also need to note that the watch lug width is 23mm and the strap width is 22mm. Still has a good fit but can clearly see in pic's this discrepancy. Anybody familiar with the Infantry watches should know that even the OEM straps came a bit on the small side and would show a small gap from the lugs to the strap fitment. With all that said, it's an attractive piece that still presents itself fairly well on the wrist. Study the pic's and judge for yourself. These Infantry's are a rare breed and just plain cool and will always be in style. The classic GMT version is not often found in the market which is all the more reason to want to own one. Watch has always been professionally maintained and cleaned and will arrive free of any accumulated dirt or grime from past usages. Recently fitted with a fresh Energizer battery and running strong. Dual time GMT feature works flawlessly. No warranty is made as to the water resistant rating as I have not pressure tested it. I would recommend having the seals checked prior to any water related activities just to be safe. Some specifics: This is the largest full size model made from the classic Infantry division. Watch measures just over 1 9/16" or 40mm across case excluding crown, crown guards and lugs. Width between the lugs is 23mm with a 22mm strap installed.
