Description: Vintage 1919 Gibson F4 mandolin original VG+ Condition with case ready to play Description 1919 Gibson F4 model mandolin Clean label, all original except missing the pickguard. Overall very good plus condition. It's had a few repairs which were done professionally via the previous owner including a loose brace as well as a short top crack by the fingerboard, and two short hairlines near the bass side of the bridge. One is two inches, and the other three (see pics). These don't appear to be all the way through, and they dont move. The back was removed and put back on to make the repairs, and was obviously a pro job as most wouldn't be able to tell. Nice straight neck, frets have life left, sounds, and plays excellent! Very nice for a 100+ year old instrument, and priced accordingly. complete with original hard case.
