Vintage 1940s 50s Handmade Rayon Gab Pleated Pants Rockabilly Atomic Talon 36x33

Description: A gorgeous pair of 1940's - 1950's era men's pleated trousers, made of a lightweight brown and black flecked rayon fabric, in a size 36 waist, with a 33 inch inseam. As is typical of the era, the rayon fabric used has lots of character, with different colors woven together to make a fabric with lots of depth. This particular rayon is made of black and brown threads, that together read as auburn, or rust colored from a distance. The fabric has been pressed, and the pants have been worn many times, leaving the fabric with a sheen, the kind that you see on well-worn fabrics of the era. A 1940's-50's era Talon brand zipper completes the front of the trousers, and is extended for nearly the whole length of the front rise, which is already longer than normal, a typical 50s construction. There is some writing on the inside of the waistband and pockets, none of it very legible, although the original owner's name is present. Please check the measurements below before purchasing. Note on color: These were fairly hard to photograph, and you'll see the color does change quite a bit. For the best estimation of what these will look like in person, please refer to the 8th photo.
