Description: For your consideration: Vintage 1930/40's Amish or Pennsylvania Dutch, maple wood and cane rocking baby cradle in good overall condition. This unique rocking baby cradle is 38" long x 20" wide and 30" high and weighs 12lb 12oz. There is a replaced bottom spindle (the broken old one will be shipped as well) see pictures 2 & 3 and one upright, holding some cane, has a split (see picture 5). Two of the base spindles are bowed, but still usable. This cradle will have to be dismantled for shipping safety and economy. There are eight (modern) wood screws which will be in a zip lock bag. The provenance for this piece; was made and purchased in Pennsylvania in the late 1930's early 40's for the great uncle of an acquaintance. The piece has passed down two generations.
