Description: This vintage 1962 CG Conn LTD Single French Horn in F (serial # 983787) comes with a hard case and includes a Herco mouthpiece, care kit, and 3 student books: First Division Band Method Part One and Part Two by Fred Weber, and Standard of Excellence by Bruce Pearson. The horn features a thumb ring, finger hook, and string mechanism on its 3 rotary valves. It has been in storage for about 15 years and prior to that it was a beginner student’s horn for about 5 years played in a youth orchestra - before that I’m not sure of its history. It has quite a few dents and scratches but to my knowledge nothing that affects its playing and sound.
