Description: This auction is for NEW NEVER USED, PAIR, of MALLARD DUCK DECOYS A DRAKE AND A HEN. I could not find a makers name on the decoys but they came in a CARRY-LITE BOX. THE BOX IS PICTURED BUT WAS SO BRITTLE IT HAD TO BE THROWN AWAY. The decoys have a FLAT METAL PEICE MOLDED IN THE MOLDED FIBER BODY FOR A WEIGHTED KEEL. THE METAL PIECE HAS A SMALL TAB THAT HANGS DOWN AND HAS A HOLE FOR THE DECOY LINE. THESE DECOYS HAVE NEVER BEEN USED, THERE MIGHT BE A LITTLE PAINT LOSS FROM RUBBING IN THE BOX, and THE PAINT ON THE METAL KEELS IS PEELING OFF, BUT OTHER THAN THAT THESE ARE IN MINT UNUSED CONDITION. I DO NOT THINK MANY OF THESE ARE STILL AROUND. I WOULD THINK THAT THEY ARE FROM THE 1950's OR SO. This would be a great addition to any CARRY-LITE or HUNTING collection and I believe that you would be very satisfied with the item.
