William Barry Vintage Lined Leather Bomber / Flight Jacket 1945 Label SZ XL EUC

Description: Offered is a men's leather bomber or flight style jacket. It is in excellent condition with only a few signs of wear and some piling on the cuffs. There is some loss of finish on the metal on the Scovill zippers. These Scovill zippers date this jacket as manufactured some time in the 60s through the 80s. A small area on a packet needs restitching, See photo. It has four pockets, two zippered and two slant. I have not been able to learn the significance of the 1945 label but I suspect that it may be of William J. Barry or William F. Barry, both who served and pilots in WWII with a significant date in 1945. Google offers information about these two heroes. I would like to think this label honors one or both of them.
